About This Game *EARLY ACCESS**Please See Our Discussions Board To Report Any Bugs And Read About Any Updates*Find our High Score Contest Rules Here - http://www.foreverhumblepdx.com/no-mans-sky-contest.htmlForever Humble PDX via Skinny Jean Death Studios in collaboration with Porcelin Labs, presents FLOBE, an unique game with an emphasis on quick pick & play action and casually intense gameplay! Use both analog sticks to control the line's position and length! Collect characters that match the color of your bar in order to fill your multiplier for a higher score! Missing them will break your multiplier and cause the length of your bar to expand. Watch out for the green ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s, red ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s and those damn bombs, if they pierce your bar it's Game Over! Advance your gameplay to multiple color collectibles and intense enemy formation challenges. Features 3 difficulty levels plus bonus challenges. Completing challenges will allow you to unlock the option to start the game in different difficulty modes. Features an exquiste soundtrack by Jazz sensation Luis "LoudMouth" Camacho. Although the game is extremely recommended for game pad use, it does have keyboard controls as well. We will be releasing the game in Early Access as we continue to add increased difficulty challenges, a Linux build, Steam achievements and Steam trading cards. The game will have a low price point to appease all players on Steam...probably even just low enough for players to break even on sales of the Steam trading cards. To be honest, this is something different, a game concept that I haven't seen before (most likely because I'm not very aquainted with other game concepts other than First Person Shooters...). One of the only reasons I decided to purchase the game was because I received a coupon for it, chopping its price into a mere $0.49. I mean, the price was irresistable! So, working with the fact that 1). the game would only cost me half a buck, and 2). the videos providing gameplay seemed to do a dear job with presenting their product, I bought the game. And what were the results?Worth every digital penny.Wielding my Xbox remote, and beginning the game for the very first time, it was one helluva' game experience. Discovery kicked in, as I began to ease myself into how the game was to be played. As I made the bar dance I gained the experience as to properly maneuver my little protagonist(?). In short I knew that new, yet easy to pick up, control methods were going to be accounted for in this game.To finish off my vague review, I'd like to say that the best part of the game might possibly be the music. Heck, it's something alright! Kept me going, despite the fact that I played with the caliber of a blind person. Jazz, probably? Believe me, Sweetheart, it's going to treat your ears with delicious tunes.. First releases of early access games aren't typically as fun as most would hope. We expect bugs, graphics issues and some core issues. Admittedly I only played the game a few times but it's clean, solid (so far) and surprisingly difficult to stop playing once you get the hang of it. Controller is a must I think. Nice casual game that's easy to pick up once in a while if you don't mind loosing track of the time. Check it out, certainly worth it, even at this stage of development.. Greetings fellow gamers! This is Gamer Guy (In a Suit) from the Echo Army YouTube channel! Today I am bringing you a review of the incredibly addictive casual indie game, Flobe. Flobe was released on Steam Januray 23, 2016 by Developers Skinny Jean Death Studios & Porcelain Labs and Publisher Forever Humble PDX.(NOTE: This game was reviewed using a key provided by the Developer and/or Publisher)Video Review: https://youtu.be/0hGvtLpMfDsThe "Too Long, Didn't Watch" Review:Cheap, pretty and insanely addictive. Also, less than a buck. 5/5 The "Meat & Potatoes" Review:Flobe. It is pronounced just as it looks. Flobe. Flobe is a casual little strategy-type indie arcade game with a puzzle feel to it. Essentially you are a blue "bar" that can move all around the screen, change sizes, flip around, etc. With this blue bar, you need to catch these little blue guys flying down the screen. Seems simple enough, but there are other colors. Catching another color will end the game, making you start over. Missing one of your own "collectibles" to catch, however does NOT kill you. It only makes the game harder from that point forward by forcing your bar to become one size larger, which can become a pain quite quickly. You need all the mobility you can get in the game! Keep collecting though, and not missing any, and your score multiplier increases. Once you hit 15X, the game exands itself and now you find yourself chasing 2 colors. IT ramps up quickly! The first thing you notice, is that it is very pretty.Very visually appealing. It has both fantastic graphics, and great sound too. The controls are very responsive and slick. Just make sure to use a controller, as the game was definitely designed with that in mind. The gameplay is so addicting. It is your basic arcade game in that your motivation is to keep increasing your top score. Trust me, you've never had enough. This may be the indie-casual-arcadey type version of "One More Turn".5/5 for my tastes. It is under a dollar, beautifully presented, easy to pick up and difficult to master. Go give it a shot, and when you do I want you to keep one thing in mind too.....the kid the coded this fantastic game is a mere 14 years old...if this is what we get while he's 14, we have a bright gaming future ahead! Keep an eye on this Forever Humble PDX studio..Happy Gaming!. This game is amazing. Seriously. I completed a badge and saw I got a coupon for 50% off some game called Flobe. I clicked on it to see if it interested me. At first I was disappointed because I saw what looked like a kind of cheap, dime-a-dozen arcade game. I looked farther into the game though, and it interested me. Being that with the coupon, the game was only 50 cents, I decided to buy it. What I got was the best 99 cent game on steam to be known in a unique and addicting arcade game. The controls are a bit wonky, but they make sense and are very responsive, and anyway, the weirdness of the controls keeps the game challenging. The graphics are fine, and actually better than I expected. Don't use the trailer as reference, because it looks a lot different than the game now, which looks much nicer. On top of all that, the music is amazing! It's something you don't see a lot in arcade games like this, and it really makes it much more enjoyable in comparison to some 9 second loop you'd hear in some other arcade game.If there was anything I would complain about it would be that there are a few annoying bugs, but being that the game is in EA, those will get sorted out in due time.9\/10. soundtrack is better than kingom hearts and undertalegameplay is more competitive than csgographics are better than final fantasy XV10/10 would recommend to anyone.
